Add or replace audio, set its start delay, and choose how its length should align with the show. CUE/IO creates a backup before every change.

Current audio

Listen to the audio currently attached to this show.

No audio

This show does not currently have an audio file.

New audio file

Choose the file to attach to the show. The original is not modified; CUE/IO creates a playback-ready WAV copy.

Choose an audio file

Supported formats: MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A/AAC, OGG/Opus, and AIFF. Maximum size: 4096 MiB.

Audio timing and length

The delay adds silence at the start of the audio. Audio speed and pitch are not changed.

Start delay

0 starts audio with the first DMX frame; a larger value starts it later.

Length mode

Match show length After the delay, the end is cropped or padded with silence so the show length does not change. Keep full audio Keeps all audio and the start delay. Longer audio may extend the show; shorter audio ends while DMX continues.

Art-Net and audio will be trimmed equally. CUE/IO creates a backup before changing the show.

Audio preview

Listen to the audio and check the selected segment before trimming.

Full output preview

Play the exact segment to be kept through Art-Net and, when available, the physical CUE/IO audio output. Preview does not change the files.

Ready to preview

This is not an on-screen-only check: CUE/IO will send real Art-Net to the configured network interface and unicast targets, and sound to the Raspberry Pi audio output. Connected lights and other equipment may respond.

When nothing is recording or playing and Timecode is not waiting for a signal, CUE/IO enters PLAYER mode automatically. The automatically opened mode closes when the editor closes or the trim completes.
