Manual show builder
Build a show from exact DMX scenes or create a ready-to-use animated lighting effect.
Check the highlighted fields and try again.
Name the show. Add audio if needed, or leave it empty and enter the total duration in seconds.
Set the default Art-Net universe, the start and end segment lengths, and the output frame rate.
Build each scene with channel or range assignments. Every DMX value must be between 0 and 255.
These values are sent from the beginning until the start segment ends.
No DMX assignments yet. Add a row or use text mode to paste several assignments.
Optional. When empty, the start scene values continue through the middle segment.
Optional. When empty, all channels used by the show are sent with a value of 0.
Choose an effect, colors and the connected fixture range. Add audio if needed, or generate a silent show with an exact duration.
Audio is optional. When attached, its length sets the generated effect duration.
Sets how quickly the effect moves or changes.
Sets the maximum output level from 1% to 100%.
These controls change their meaning for the selected effect. The preview updates immediately.
Controls how much of the effect is visible.
Controls the distance between visible parts of the effect.
Controls how evenly or randomly the effect is distributed.
The same pattern number always creates the same effect, including after an update or restart.
Choose one of 15 ready-made palettes, or build a custom palette with 1–16 colors.
Choose the actual fixture and DMX mode. CUE/IO will use only its mapped RGB/RGBW channels and keep required control channels at fixed values.
Generic RGB/RGBW uses consecutive color channels. A fixture profile follows the real channel layout from its manual.
For Generic RGB/RGBW, Add fixture inserts this many identical pixels in physical order.
Add every fixture in the order it is installed. Drag the grip to reorder; the arrow buttons remain available for keyboard control. CUE/IO recalculates consecutive DMX addresses from the selected first channel after every move.
Add at least one fixture to build the DMX address list.
Addresses are calculated in the shown order. Only profile IDs are submitted; CUE/IO resolves the trusted channel maps on the server.
Fixed values are active only while this generated show plays. Stop and end-of-show still send blackout (0).
Copy the channel numbers from the fixture's official DMX table. Channel numbers are relative to each fixture, starting at 1.
R, G and B are required. Add W only when the mode has a dedicated white channel.
Use this for dimmer, shutter or mode channels that must stay at one value during the show.
Choose network-wide broadcast or send this Manual show to one device by unicast. The choice saved here ignores global Art-Net targets.
