Manual show builder

Create a show manually

Build a show from exact DMX scenes or create a ready-to-use animated lighting effect.

Show and audio

Name the show. Add audio if needed, or leave it empty and enter the total duration in seconds.

Optional. WAV, MP3 and the other listed formats are converted without changing the source file. When selected, audio sets the total show duration. Supported: WAV, MP3, FLAC, OGG, M4A. Maximum size: 2048 MB.
Required only when no audio file is selected. For example, enter 120 for a two-minute show.

Timing

Set the default Art-Net universe, the start and end segment lengths, and the output frame rate.

New assignments and text rows without a universe prefix use this value.

DMX scenes

Build each scene with channel or range assignments. Every DMX value must be between 0 and 255.

How the show is built The start scene is played steadily for the specified start time. When a middle scene is supplied, CUE/IO switches to its fixed channel values after the start segment; it does not create an automatic smooth transition. The end scene is played for the specified end time while maintaining the selected FPS.

Start scene

These values are sent from the beginning until the start segment ends.

Enter one assignment per line. Use U3:1=255 or U7:10-16=120 for a specific universe; legacy rows such as 1=255 use the default universe. Lines beginning with # are comments.

Middle scene (optional)

Optional. When empty, the start scene values continue through the middle segment.

Enter one assignment per line. Use U3:1=255 or U7:10-16=120 for a specific universe; legacy rows such as 1=255 use the default universe. Lines beginning with # are comments.

End scene (optional)

Optional. When empty, all channels used by the show are sent with a value of 0.

Enter one assignment per line. Use U3:1=255 or U7:10-16=120 for a specific universe; legacy rows such as 1=255 use the default universe. Lines beginning with # are comments.

Art-Net output

Choose network-wide broadcast or send this Manual show to one device by unicast. The choice saved here ignores global Art-Net targets.

This choice is stored with the Manual show and ignores global targets. Broadcast uses the configured broadcast address; Unicast sends only to the one device entered here.
Enter the IP address of the single Art-Net device that should receive this show.
Demo safety: the live test is session-only and simulated. It never sends Art-Net, audio or network traffic. Stop or natural completion simulates the same final blackout.
Live test sends lighting only; audio is not uploaded or played.
