CUE/IO terms of sale

These terms govern access to the CUE/IO digital software licence provided by SIA Stared. Paddle is the seller and Merchant of Record for paid orders as described below.

Product provider and contact

SIA Stared; Registration no.: 43603092341; VAT no.: LV43603092341; Registered address: Jelgava, Garozas iela 68 - 11, LV-3002, Latvia. Product, activation, privacy and complaint contact: info@cueio.app.

Product and device licence

A purchase grants a perpetual licence for one CUE/IO installation on one supported Raspberry Pi 4 or 5. Raspberry Pi hardware, storage media, audio hardware and an Art-Net network are not included. Initial installation needs a compatible 64-bit CUE/IO image, and activation needs internet access; recording and playback then run locally as described in the documentation. The licence may not be cloned or used on several devices at the same time. In your account, you can detach it from the previous device and attach it to another. Installation instructions are provided, and conformity or security updates are supplied where applicable law requires them; a perpetual licence does not promise an indefinite feature roadmap or compatibility with future third-party hardware or operating-system changes.

Order, price and payment

Our order process is conducted by the authorised reseller Paddle. Paddle is the seller and Merchant of Record for paid orders: Paddle Checkout shows the final price, processes payment and applicable tax, sends the transaction confirmation, and issues the buyer invoice. SIA Stared does not issue a second buyer invoice for the same Paddle transaction. CUE/IO provides the product, licence and activation support, and the licence is issued only after Paddle confirms payment.

Digital delivery and withdrawal

Consumers must separately request immediate digital delivery and acknowledge loss of the 14-day withdrawal right once delivery begins. Without that express consent, immediate automated delivery is not available. Paddle sends the transaction confirmation and buyer invoice; CUE/IO sends a separate product and licence confirmation before the licence is provisioned.

Taxes and business purchases

Paddle determines and collects any required sales taxes in Checkout. Enter accurate personal or company details before confirming the payment.

Problems and refunds

Contact support with your order number if payment, delivery or activation fails. Statutory consumer rights and remedies for non-conforming digital content are not limited by these terms. Paddle, as seller and Merchant of Record, processes approved refunds through the original payment channel and issues any corresponding credit document; an offline device may receive a licence-status change when it next connects.

Complaints and consumer disputes

First send a written complaint to CUE/IO support for product, licence or activation matters, or to Paddle buyer support for payment, invoice or refund matters. If a consumer dispute remains unresolved, the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Centre provides official information about complaint and out-of-court dispute-resolution routes where they apply.
